Grass Festuca Glauca Elijah Blue

A dwarf, compact, clumping grass forming mounding tufts of fine powdery blue blades.  Shear back in the spring to improve foliage color. Dry, well-drained soil.  Avoid excess fertility.  May have winter dieback if gets waterlogged.  Zone 4-9. Excellent for rock gardens or front of perennial borders.  Pair with pink or blue flowering plants for nice color and texture complement.  Aubretia, saponaria, lavender, artemesia, dianthus, coneflowers.
