Grass Hakonechloa Macra All Gold

Partial shade grass with an upright and spiky look forming graceful clumps of long sword shaped leaves that are a gleaming gold without a hint of green.  Moist, but well-drained, fertile soil in light shade. Plants resent drying out. Slow grower but worth the effort.  Deer Resistant. One of the few colorful grasses for partial shade. Plant with hostas, ferns, hellebores, tricyrtis, iris ensata, trillium, and anemone japonica.
