Hosta Bridal Falls

This is a white-edged sport of Hosta ‘Niagara Falls’.   It forms a nice mound of dark green rippled leaves and white rippled margins.   The leaves appear yellow to start and fade to white. Long lived, easy to grow plants in filtered sunlight or full shade. Grows best in rich, moist soil but tolerant of dry shade. Smaller hostas can be grown in containers and shady rock gardens. The mainstays of the shade garden. Mixed mass plantings of hosta can create an interesting groundcover of shapes and colors. Hostas emerge late in spring so interplant with spring flowering bulbs and ephemerals. Plant with ferns, tricyrtis, helleborus, pulmonaria, woodland phlox, and aster diviratica.
