Island Breeze is the third member of the “tropical” family and a sport of ‘Paradise Island’. This cultivar has wider margins, thicker leaf substance, and a strong growth rate. Selected as Hosta of the Year for 2022. Long lived, easy to grow plants in filtered sunlight or full shade. Grows best in rich, moist soil but tolerant of dry shade. Smaller hostas can be grown in containers and shady rock gardens. Zone 3-8.
