Hosta June

Pointed leaves are yellow with an irregular blue-green margin, overlapping the center to create streaking. Requires some sun to develop the yellow color in spring.  Sport of old favorite ‘Halcyon’. Long lived plants. Grow best in rich, moist, but well-drained soil in filtered sunlight. Mixing an abundance of organic matter into the soil when planting and then mulching over the years keeps hostas looking their best. Water during periods of drought and protect from slugs.  Zone 3-8.
