Hosta Sum and Substance

Award winning, impressive, large hosta that requires lots of space. Thick, oval leaves, puckered on mature plants. Lime green or chartreuse in shade to strong yellow in sun.  Slug resistant. Long lived plants Grow best in rich, moist, but well drained soil in filtered sunlight. Mixing an abundance of organic matter into the soil when planting and then mulching over the years keeps hostas looking their best. Water during periods of drought and protect from slugs.  Zone 3-8
