An extra heavy blooming variety with a profusion of fragrant, pink, star shaped flowers covering the neat mounding shrub in May. Foliage has an attractive purplish-burgundy fall color. Great in borders, informal hedges, rock gardens and foundation plantings around house and patio.
Deer resistant, attracts pollinators including hummingbirds.
Full sun. Average, moist-drier, well-draining soil. Zone 5-8.
Blooms on old wood - prune immediately after flowering.
