Monarda Didyma Marshalls Delight

Bees, butterflies, and humming- birds love this plant, deer don’t. Forms upright, compact, sturdy clumps of four sided stems, with aromatic dark green leaves.  Flowers at tips of stems. Full sun to part shade in moisture retentive soil.   Mildew resistant variety. Plant in borders with Joe-pye-weed, shasta daisy, lady’s mantle, and hibiscus.  Plants will form large colonies in meadow plantings or woods edge. Colorful plant for summer bloom in herb garden.
