Nepeta Blue Wonder

Prolific blooming, compact plant with small, toothed aromatic leaves and short narrow racemes of dark purple blue flowers.  Attracts butterflies.  Shear spent blooms to encourage rebloom. Well drained soil in full sun. Good for dry, sunny sites.  Zone 3-8. Useful for separating strong colors in borders. Very effective when used with stone walls or as an edging plant. Great in herb, wild or rock gardens. Plant with coreopsis, garden phlox, yarrow, salvia, autumn joy sedum, and as a ground cover around roses.
