Nipponanthemum Nippon/montauk Daisy

This is a mounding semi-woody plant with leafy glossy, green leaves. Unlike most daisies it blooms in the fall. Plant in average to rich soil that is well drained and in full sun. It will grow along the shore. Looks nice with other fall bloomers like mums, plumbago, and asters. Note: The Montauk Daisy originated in Japan but bears the name of a Native American tribe and grows well in many parts of the United States.
