Oenothera Fruticosa Fireworks

Drought tolerant, hardy, shrubby plant with red stems, and egg shaped dark purplish-green leaves. Reddish buds open to abundant yellow flowers. Likes average dry, well drained soil in full sun or light shade.  Zone 4-8. Plant in sunny border with nepeta, lavender, blue flax, daisies, feverfew, belamcanda, daylillies, bearded iris, and garden phlox.
