Penstemon Dark Towers

Clump forming plant with deep wine-red foliage that keeps its dark color throughout summer. In midsummer the plants explode with tall stems of tubular pink flowers. Does best when planted in full sun to part shade in average soil. Will tolerate high heat and humidity. A perfect dark background plant for the border. Plant with coreopsis, lamb’s ear, hardy geraniums, and veronica.
