Deer resistant, attracts pollinators, clay soil, black walnut, heat and air pollution tolerant. 

Full Sun- part sun. Average, loose, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 5-8a. 

Blooms on old wood - if desired, prune immediately after flowering. 

Apply slow release tree/shrub fertilizer in early spring.
