Plant forms a clump of fine, lacy dissected foliage, bright yellow in color making it a great contrast plant next to dark leaved plants. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Stunning contrast plant with its fine feathery foliage and bright gold color to break up greens in the border. Plant with heliopsis, phlox, knautia, liatris, malva, and verbascum.

Zone 4-8.

Note: Native to Europe and Asia. It was brought to the United States in color times for medicinal and horticulture reasons. Over time, it escaped gardens and naturalized throughout the NE corridor.
