Verbascum Southern Charm

Tight rosettes of soft hairy foliage produce tall stout leafy stalks topped with rows of 5 petaled flowers. Short lived- but reseeds readily. Thrives in full sun in well drained average to sandy soil. Will not tolerate a wet winter site. Mulleins work well in wild gardens or rear of borders. Plant with nepeta, echinacea, rudbeckia, liatris, and ornamental grasses.
