Viola Hearthrob

Stunning fancy foliage groundcover for shade. Bold, textured green leaves with a strongly contrasting deep burgundy splash. Blooms with delicate, fragrant lavender flowers in spring. Does not seed around. Plan in moist, well drained soil in light to full shade. Attractive in shade containers for low filler foliage. Spring blooms and lovely foliage make for a great yearlong goundcover under trees, shrubs, and specimen shade plants. Excellent for shady rock gardens; a crevice grower.
