Coming in hot! This easy to grow reblooming mophead Hydrangea has shiny green leaves and large red blooms in late and late summer. Blooms are a deeper red in more basic soils and a violet-purple in acidic soils. The compact size makes it great for borders and containers.
Attracts pollinators, light salt tolerance.
Part sun- part shade. Average-rich, moist, well-draining soils. Zone 5-9.
Pruning is not necessary, but spent blooms can be removed for appearance.
