Luna Pink Swirl has large pink and white swirled flowers with a cranberry center appear in mid summer to mid fall. Plant has a compact, dwarf growth habit flushing bright green quickly as its a vigorous grower. Due to itβs ability to handle wet soils, this shrub is an excellent zone 1 rain garden plant where water stands for a period of time post rain events. Looks stunning in a boarder, as a screen or hedge, in containers, and as specimen.
Full Sun. Average, moist-wet soil. Zone 5-9.
Attracts pollinators, wet soil tolerant, deer resistant.
Deadheading can maintain neat appearance but is not necessary for continued blooming.
Fertilize throughout growing season for best results.
Cut back stems to approximately 3-4 inches in late fall.
