This hydrangea also has a good level of mildew resistance as well as salt and cold tolerance. Use for accent planting in beds and containers, and makes stellar cut flowers both fresh or dried.

Attracts pollinators. 

Full sun- part sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Protect from winter winds. Zone 5-9. 

Apply mulch to maintain soil moisture. 

Pruning in not recommended as it will negatively impact the flowers that grow on old wood.

Apply granular rose fertilizer in early spring when ground has thawed. Never fertilizer after late July, will interfere with shrub’s dormancy cycle.
