Peony Lactiflora Candy Stripe

Long lived, hardy, herbaceous, bush like perennial with divided leaves that are maroon in spring and turn green. Plants bear huge, fragrant flowers that are a good summer cut flower. The coloring of this peony is unlike any other, it is white with red stripes and a hint of pink mixed in. It also has large double blooms, and gives off a nice fragrance. Not particular about soil.  Grow in full sun or light shade for best flower production. Mulch to keep roots cool and moist. Do not over fertilize. Deer and rabbit resistant.
