Long lived, hardy, herbaceous, bush like perennial with divided leaves. Plants bear high fragrant flowers that are a good summer cut flower. This peony is valued for its large, very fragrant, boldly pure white flowers. Not particular about soil. Grow in full sun or light shade for best flower production. Mulch to keep roots cool and moist. Do not over fertilize, leaf spots can be a problem if plants have too much nitrogen. Zone 3-8. Deer resistant.
