Iris Germanica Jurassic Park

Fans of broad, flat, pointed leaves grow from thick rhizomes that creep along the soil surface. Flower stalks emerge bearing large buds that open to big papery irises with bearded falls. Large ruffled bicolor iris with dark purple falls and bright yellow standards. Full sun in average to dry, well drained soil that does not remain too wet in winter. Zone 3-10. Deer resistant.
