Grass Bouteloua Gracilis Honey Comb

Flag-like flowers rise up out of the foliage in mid-summer and are held horizontally above the leaves all summer into winter as they age to a deep gold. Plants hold up very well in snow. Showy deep gold or honey colored blooms that are held horizontally. Full sun in average soil.  Once established, drought resistant. Zone 4-9. Bird-friendly, North American Native.
