Magnolia Stellata Royal Star 2 Gal

A charming deciduous tree with larger and showier white blooms than the species.

Attracts pollinators, tolerates clay soils. 

Full sun - part shade. Best blooming in higher sun. Average, consistently moist, well-draining soil. Zone 4-8.

The site for this Magnolia should be one that protected from winter winds as to protect buds in spring, but also a spot that isn't too warm, such as next to a building on the southern side. The increased warmth may encourage buds to open too early.
