'Goshiki' is a compact bushy evergreen shrub whose multi-colored foliage is the inspiration behind the Japanese name meaning "5 colors." Emerging pink, the spiny leathery leaves turn variegated creams, yellows, and greens. Easier to smell than spot, the dainty clusters of white flowers that are produce below the foliage are quite fragrant. Works well in boarders, hedges, screens, and in containers.
Deer resistant, attracts pollinators, clay and drought tolerant.
Full sun - part shade. Bushier growth in higher sun. Average-rich, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 6-9.
