'Tiny Wine' is an excellent way to get those Ninebark characteristics without taking up too much room. This dwarf, upright spreading shrub produces deep maroon foliage that contrasts the clusters of small white to pink flowers that bloom in spring and early summer along slightly arching stems. Good way to add structure and color to the perennial border, foundation plantings or shrub border.
Attracts pollinators.
Full sun- part sun. Best form and blooming in higher sun. Average, slightly acidic, moist-dry, well-draining soil. Zone 3-8.
Best form is maintained without pruning however, blooms on old wood - if needed prune immediately after flowering but no later than mid-august.
