Fiery red new growth rises from the lustrous evergreen foliage then ages to a deep green. This spreading mounded habit shrub produces clusters of urn-shaped, Lilly-of-the-Valley-like scented white flowers in early spring. Ideal for foundations and foreground placements in shrub boarder or is also quite effective in open woodland areas. May be massed or grown as a specimen.

Full sun - part shade. Rich, slightly acidic, moist, well-draining soil.

Attracts pollinators, deer and heavy shade tolerant.

Blooms on old wood- if needed prune after flowering.

Remove spent flowers.
