This naturally compact and rounded azalea offers vivid green foliage that matures to a deep green. Slightly ruffled, bight fuchsia flowers bloom for the first time in spring and will continue to bloom sporadically until frost. An excellent option for foundations, accents, borders, hedges or containers.
Full sun - part shade. Average, moist-wetter, well-draining soil. Plant in protected spot. Zone 6-10.
Attracts pollinators.
Consider planting in raised beds if planting in clay soil.
Apply mulch to protect roots by maintaining soil moisture and temperature.
To lower soil acidity, apply sulfur or iron sulfate. To increase soil acidity, apply limestone or lime.
Blooms on old wood - prune immediately after flowering. Remove spent blooms as practical.
