Bright white flowers top branches cloaked in dark, maroon foliage of this upright, vase shaped large shrub or small tree. Highly powdery mildew and leaf spot resistant. Use as a specimen, in foundation plantings, or as a screen.
Deer resistant, attracts pollinators.
Full sun. Average- moist, well-draining soil. Zone 6-9.
Remove spent flowers to encourage more flowering.
Blooms on new wood - prune in winter or early spring. Death and damage can be removed any time.
