This vigorous grower features heavily serrated foliage emerging dark maroon and maturing to a deep, glossy green. Very floriferous, relatively trouble/pest free plant. Dense, reddish pink plumes are held above the foliage. Plant in rich, moist, yet well draining soil in full shade to part sun. If planted in a sunny spot, be sure to maintain adequate moisture. Deer and rabbit resistant, attracts pollinators.
