This tall, dramatic, cardinal flower features dark, chocolatey purple foliage that holds it's color all season. The spikes of bright red lobed flowers sit above the foliage. Blooms in late July to August. Plant in evenly moist, rich soil, in part sun to part shade. Deer resistant. Zone 5-8.
