Syringa Hyacinthiflora Old Glory

‘Old Glory’ Lilac is a MILDEW RESISTANT cultivar that can stand up to high heat and humidity. This deciduous shrub brings all the pollinators to the yard with it 8” long reddish-purple buds that bloom deep lilac. Great in bed and borders, and can be hedged or used as a screen. 

Full sun. Average, fertile, humus-rich, alkaline-neutral, dry-moist, well-draining soil. Zone 5-9. 

Tolerant of deer, drought, clay soil, attracts pollinators including butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. 

Blooms on old wood - if needed, prune immediately after blooming.
