A stiffly upright, multi-stemmed shrub covered in soft double pink flowers all summer long. Known for its excellent flower production and quick growth habit. Use in shrub border or as a specimen plant. Can be trained as a small tree.
Attracts pollinators including butterflies & hummingbirds, deer resistant, heat and salt tolerant.
Full Sun. Any moist, well-draining soil. Zone 5-9.
Fertilize with tree/shrub granular fertilizer in spring.
Blooms on new wood- If needed, prune in early spring, can be heavily prune its but not necessary.
Note: Rose of Sharon are later to leaf out in spring.
