The lilac colored buds of this upright, somewhat rounded, and mildew resistant shrub open in late spring displaying such a light lilac color that the dense flower clusters appear a faint lilac color. May be planted in mass, or as a specimen, within boarders and foundation plantings.
Full sun. Average, fertile. slightly acidic-alkaline, rich, moist, well-draining soil.
Zone 3-8.
Attracts pollinators including hummingbirds and butterflies, deer resistant
Blooms on old wood - if desired, prune after flowering.
Remove spend flowers before they seed.
