Showy flowers with intense fragrance grow from bulbs of overlapping fleshy scales. Flowers stems bear whorled narrow leaves with several flowers and buds at the top. Great cut flower. Bright orange double flowers! Part shade or in a cool sunny spot. Plant bulb at least 4 inches deep in moist, rich, acid, well drained soil. Can be left undisturbed for many years and allowed to multiply naturally. Zone 3-9.
