This spring ephemeral boast flowers with upturned petals and a yellow center, hence the common name shooting stars. They are excellent for damp woods edge, or other moist sites. They will go dormant over the summer, so do not disturb them while they are sleeping. This selection boasts bright magenta flowers. Native to California.
