Syringa x Hycinthflora Scentara Pura Pw

ScentaraTM Lilacs are the most fragrant of all the Proven Winner Lilacs. This is a very heavy bloomer with good disease resistance. Needs 6 hours or more of direct sunlight daily. Tolerates most soils although prefers well drained soils with neutral pH. Will not tolerate wet feet. Begin pruning after three to five years by removing 1/3 of the oldest wood annually. OK to fertilize a bit as new growth starts.  Zone 2-8. Great in a shrub border. Plant to enjoy the fragrant flowers. Prune after bloom. Tip the upright shoots to promote side branching.
