Dark purple drooping flowers earn a spot in the cascade series. Has shown to be completely sterile in a 4 year trial. Dark green deciduous foliage. Use in a shrub border or in butterfly gardens. Be wary of planting right next to doors or pathways as there will be lots of bees hovering near this plant! Plant with evergreens for winter interest and early spring blooming shrubs such as Weigela, Spirea, Lilacs, or Forsythia to feature blooms in all seasons in your flower beds.
Prune back to 12 inches in late winter, blooms on new wood.
