'Tandoori Orange' is an upright and rounded shrub with a compact habit. The textured, bright green foliage is a cheerful background for the late spring/early summer blooms of fluffy, creamy white flowers. It isn't long after blooming that those flowers become lively bright orange berries which hold well into winter. Though this viburnum will produce fruit without a companion, we recommend planting it along with 2 or more of the same species, such as another 'Tandoori Orange,  or mixed with 'Cardinal Candy' for greater fruit production on both shrubs. This Viburnum looks great in boarders, screens, foundations, hedges or open woodland gardens.

Full sun - part shade. Average, moist, well-draining soils. Zone 5-8.

Deer resistant, attracts pollinators, some drought tolerance once established.

Blooms on old wood - may be prune immediately after flowering at the expense of fruit.

Granular fertilizer for woody plants/rose fertilizer can be applied in early spring.
