This compact, clump forming plant offers deeply lobed, green foliage. Wiry stems rise above the foliage, each tipped with a rounded flower head set in a cup of bracts. Excellent re-blooming cut flower. Dramatic, deep purple star shaped flowers that produce a lovely fragrance are held high above the foliage. Great cut flower option. Prefers to be planted in humus rich, moist but well draining soil, in full sun to part shade.
