Viburnum Rhytid Red Balloon Pw 2 Gal

With thick, leathery, semi-evergreen foliage that reveal purple hues in fall, 'Red Balloon' looks great all year long. But it doesn't stop there, in spring, large lacy white flower clusters cover this upright habit shrub. Summer green berries mature to vibrant red for an added splash of late summer fun. Will fruit with our without a companion pollinator, but for ample berry supply plant with a pollinator such as 'Alleghany'. This shrub makes for a fantastic screen, works well in landscapes and mass plantings, and does nicely as a specimen. 

Full sun - part sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 4-8.

Attracts pollinators including butterflies. 

Blooms on old wood - if needed, prune immediately after flowering, however this will be at the expense of the fruit.
