This native bog plant performs exceptionally in those low lying wet spots in your landscape, including rain gardens. They emerge later in the spring than most shrubs, however they are fast growing. Because they tolerate boggy soils, Hibiscus mosheutos are great zone 1 rain garden options as they handled standing water for a period of time.
Deer resistant, attracts pollinators.
