One of the best garden perennials. Plant forms a clump of silver, fern like foliage that produces large flat flowerheads on stiff stems. Long blooming plant for cut and dried flowers. At home in the formal border, wild garden, or meadow. Good middle of the border plant for softening bold textures. Plant with liatris, iris, coneflowers, balloon flowers, rudbeckia, russian sage, lychnis, and red hot pokers. Very hardy and easily grown in sunny, well-drained site.

Blooms June through August with flat flowerheads of bright yellow flowers. Deadhead to encourage rebloom
