Unique soft, hairy, green fan shaped, deeply pleated leaves that collect beads of moisture to give a sparkling effect. Flowers in clusters of tiny blooms. Flowers are used as cut flowers. Very hardy, requires virtually no care in partly shaded moist soil. Zones 3-9. Naturalize a shady area or plant as a groundcover or an edging plant with hardy geraniums, hostas, ferns, astilbes, heucheras, and barrenwort.
