Native woodland plant that forms clumps of tall, arching stems with toothed heart shaped leaves that bear a loose spray of blooms in fall. Plant in well drained but moist, moderately fertile soil in full sun to partial shade. Avoid consistent moisture. Deer and rabbit resistant, attracts butterflies and other pollinators. Zone 3-8.
