Rugged but elegant shade loving plant with fern like, lacy, green foliage and bright colorful feathery plumes held well above the foliage clumps. Purplish lavender plumes held above the foliage. Excellent option for cut or dried flowers. Plant in rich, evenly moist yet well draining soil in full shade to part sun. If planted in a sunny spot be sure to maintain adequate moisture. Deer and rabbit resistant, attracts pollinators.
