New series of inter specific baptisia that boasts bushier, more compact habit. Clear yellow flower spikes with dark stems in late spring followed by dark seed heads in the fall. Full sun in well drained, average soil that is not overly fertile. Very good tolerance to poor soil and drought. Long lived plant that should not be disturbed once established. Baptisias are native to the US. Zone 4-9. Good middle of the sunny border plant that will have a shrub like effect. Plant with asclepias, asters, echinaceas, garden phlox, iris, liatris, and salvia. Provides a good focal point in border.
