Bergenia Cordifolia Dragonfly Sakura

Evergreen throughout nearly the entire continent, this selection forms a low clump of green leaves, which develop rich plum-red tones in the winter. Moist, humus-rich, well drained soil in full sun or light shade. Zones 4-9. Good winter color. Effective when mass planted or used as an edging along a walkway. Bold foliage plant for contrasting with delicate plants like columbine, dicentra exima, ferns, and hakone grass. Deer and rabbit resistant.
