A glorious waterfall effect, much like an arbor draped with Wisteria, the weeping soft lilac-purple flower sprays cascade over the arching foliage tips. Blooms large, honey-scented flowers that attract pollinators from mid summer to early fall.

Drought and humidity tolerant. Deer resistant, attracts butterflies and other pollinators.

Best in full sun, but can handle light morning or light afternoon shade. In lighter soils, sand/loam, prefers moist- wet, well-draining soil. In heavier soils, such as clay dominant, prefers moist, well-draining soil.  Zone 5-9.

Prune in early spring to cut back to 6-8” to remove damage and encourage new growth.

Plant in back of a sunny border or as a hedge row.  Plant with black-eyed-susans, coneflowers, daisies, and daylilies for a carefree sunny border.
