Buxus Boxwood Newgen Freedom 2-Gallon

This is a vigorous, rounded fast growing boxwood with glossy green leaves. Grows in a slightly more airy form than ‘NewGen Independence’. Resists leafminer and BOXWOOD BLIGHT RESISTANT. Useful in mixed borders or mass plantings. In formal or traditional gardens they are used for edging or hedges. 

Full sun to part shade. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 5-8.

Protect from winter winds and shallow rooted so be careful with cultivation. 

Deer resistant. 

Apply mulch to maintain soil moisture and keep soil cool. 

Prune in late winter/early spring to maintain the density of the form.
